Intro to Knitting Basics - Very Easy

Our 1 Day Intro to Knitting Basics class is a great start for newcomers without any knitting experience. This class is also good for students who've taken this class already and would like more time and assistance to complete their larger projects. You will learn different knitting techniques that will allow you to make any small project on your own. **New knitting skills take time so it is unlikely that a full project will be completed in the 3 hour block but resources will be provided to continue your journey at home. This class will focus on making small coasters/pocket squares (Picture 1) but set you up with skills to learn lengthier projects like scarves (Pictures 2-4)**

Taught by emerging artists and industry-leading professionals, there is a major focus on showing students what they can do with their new skills in the real world. Whether that's as an at-home hobbyist or bringing it to professional fields like fashion, costuming, repairs and more.

Yarn will be provided, however, we do encourage bringing in some of your own materials if you wish to upcycle them. Needles are available to borrow during class time but stay in the studio once class is complete.
